Nantwood Gideon
| Gideon was out of our Horeb Euros mare and by Thorneyside The Marksman
(Thorneyside Flyer). We do did have room to keep another colt
so regrettably he was sold at the autumn cob sales 2011. |
|
 |
 |
Nantwood Mair
| Mair was a
sweet, flashy chestnut filly with flaxen mane and tail. She was the
first foal by Thorneyside the Marksman and was sold as a two year old at
Clwyd sale. With her sweet nature we are sure her new owners will have
a lot of fun with her. |

Nantwood Orion
| A bay colt with four
whites and a star, Orion is a quality colt by our stallion Thorneyside the
Marksman out of a lovely mare by Gwynfaes Culhwch. |
|
 |
 |
Nantwood Firethorn
| We were
sorry to sell Firethorn but as he is so closely related to all our mares
he had to go. We are sure his new owners will have a lot of
success with him in the show ring next year. |

Nantwood Nelson
| Nelson
is by Thorneyside the Marksman out of Minyffordd Madonna, black with a
small white behind, a star and a snip. He is a big
upstanding colt with a pretty head and nice nature. He combines
the very best of bloodlines, his sire being by Thorneyside Flyer and his
dam is by Cascob Dafydd Ddu
|
 |
Nantwood Seren Ddu
 |
Seren
was the first foal out of Gwynfaes Seren JR, he a black colt with four white
socks and a blaze and really drew the eye in the field. He was by
Thorneyside the Gaffer so he is really well bred on both sides.

|
Nantwood Indiana
 |
Indiana was a fantastic upstanding colt. Unfortunately we do not
have the facilities to run on lots of colts so he was sold at the Cob Sales
2008 |
Nantwood Llawen |
 |
 |
I don't think you ever forget the foist foal you breed. Ollie was
an easy to do colt who was gelded as a yearling and went on to be broken by
Jamie Baldwin. We kept him on because he was so easy to do but in the
end sold him in 2008. We are confident that his new owners will go on
to have a lot of fun with him.

Nantwood Dwynwen
 |
|
| We were lucky to be offered
Madonna by Rob Grinnall (Beech-Hay Stud). She was sent to Gwynfaes Culhwch and
Nantwood Dwynwen was the result, as you can see she has all the action that
Culhwch throws.
She is now with Alun Davies at the
Dylasau stud in North Wales |

Nantwood Utah
 |
Nantwood Colorado |
|
Utah was sold to Germany in late 2007.
He was by Gwynfaes Culhwch and out of Minyffordd Madonna.
We wish Heidi all the best with him in the future. |
Colorado was sold at the Royal Welsh Cob Sales in
2007.
He was bought by the Erdyl Stud where he will be used as a
stallion and has been shown in North Wales |
Nantwood Gwilym |
 |
|
Gwilym was sold at the cob sale in 2007 along with
his mother below and they were both exported to Norway. We wish his
owners all the best with them. |

Foxglen Bliss winning Champion Welsh at Capel Dewi Horse
Show 2006 Bliss was sold at the October cob sales
with Nantwood Gwilym at foot and exported to Norway. We were very
excited as this represented our first export. |
Minyffordd Madonna
 |
We were offered Maddie by Rob Grinnall (Beech Hay
Stud). The deal was to put her in foal and if we like the foal then we
buy her. Her first foal was Nantwood Dwynwen. She gave us a stunning foal to
Thorneyside the Marksman in 2009. Sadly she died peaceably in
the field in Jan 2012
Here pictured with Dwynwen |

Brenmor Ellen, the one that
started it all! When we bought Ellen as a companion for Reuben she was
nothing really to look at. But as you can see from the picture she really
blossomed into a nice cob.
She was sold in 2005 to Cath and Denver Sutcliffe, we are sure they will have
an awful lot of fun with her.

|
Annie (Cefncoch Rhiannon) was the first foal we bought. She
was purchased from Builth when we were still living in Yorkshire, we kept
her for 3 years and she was backed by Jamie Baldwin (Janton Stud). The
picture on the left was taken on the day she was sold at Clwyd Sales. She
proved to be a very sensible young ridden mare and we are sure her new
owners went on to have a lot of fun with her. |
|
 |
Gambit (Westdawn Welsh Gambler) was bought from Clwyd sales as a
yearling. We had a lot of fun showing him as a yearling and two-year
old colt but as he grew it became obvious to us that he was not a stallion.
He was gelded as a two year old and went on to make a nice ridden gelding.
We recently had an e-mail from his new owner Jenny Forde who adores him and
is competing him eventing classes where he is proving to be a real star. |
| We bought Lavinia as a yearling as a project for Rebecca to bring on and
sell as a ridden animal. Unfortunately pressure of time and a desire
to take Seren JR meant we didn't have time to do her justice.
Regrettably she was sold at Clwyd sale and we understand she is safely in
foal. |
